the account and open a PayPal account. These are a must in order for you to sell on eBay. eBay is a lot of fun, but you do have to learn some basics. Again, if you are totally new to eBay sell some stuff that is laying around your home to get some basic skills.
Also, if you are thinking a real business you will need, business license, resale license, business bank account and tax or employer ID.
Here are some ways you can earn money on eBay! You can start selling items for other people. This way, you do not have any expenses for the inventory and you can charge them a commission. This can be a nice chunk of change!
In my opinion, to really start this business you need to invest around $500-750. Around $250 is for start-up fees and the rest is to buy some necessary tools. The first tool you would need is wholesale database. Finding wholesaler online is almost impossible because a lot of them do not advertise online. The only place worth investing in is Worldwide Brands Database! Because they do connect you with true wholesalers. Stay away from drop shippers that promise to have millions of products in one place (Mall type settings!)
Another way to make money on eBay is to sell digital items! This way you 
have unlimited supply of inventory, but on some digital products you can make only about $2. Plus, you may reoccur more listing fees for products that do not sell!
But of course for all of these you need more detailed information how to get your own eBay business started. In addition you would have to learn how to research profitable products. There are literally thousands of ways to earn money on eBay, you just need to know which one fits you best! I know there are books written that promise to show you all, but I don’t think any of them are worth the money!
My road to success was very expensive. Trial and error = loss of a lot of money. I am sharing what I have learned with other people! I really want you to skip a very expensive learning curve!
